Riding happiness at Moar Gut

Hello children,

I'm Schneeflocke and probably you all know me already. I dare to say that I am the favorite among all the horses at Moar Gut, because due to my size (I'm very small), even the youngest guests can ride me.

I live here at Moar Gut together with 16 other Icelandic horses and we feel very comfortable here. The owners, the Kendlbacher family, provide us with everything we need and our riding instructors treat us very lovingly. In addition, many lovely children visit us every day to feed us and spoil us with caresses.

I'm already a bit older and more comfortable, so I like to go for pony walks around the resort. While there, we visit my friends the pigs, the goats and sheep and also stop by the cuddly alpacas. I am always very happy to see everyone again and to greet them with my snout.

Sometimes I am also allowed to give lunge lessons or riding play lessons in the Moar Gut indoor riding arena. Since I am already very comfortable on the road, riding me is a real breeze.


Other horses in our stable are real rockets and are often allowed to ride outdoors in the summer. Whether it's a trail ride to the alpine pasture or a cross-country ride. But only experienced riders who already know how to ride really well are allowed.

In winter it gets quite cozy at the Moar Gut. When it starts to snow, we don't do outdoor rides anymore - we prefer to stay in the indoor riding hall. The great thing about Moar Gut is that we also offer horse drawn sleigh ride. Well - not me. Unfortunately I am too small for that. But my friends Sikill and Hrimnir pull the Moar Gut carriage through the beautiful snowy winter landscape in winter. This is a real experience for the whole family!
