Moar Gut mountain cabin
The exclusive Moar Gut mountain cabin for our guests
Our alpine pasture and cabin at 1693 meters above sea level not only serves as a cozy and private refuge for the guests of our family hotel, but also makes a valuable contribution to the preservation of the alpine landscape.
Our cattle graze up here from June to the end of September, and almost 80 hectares of lush alpine meadows are available to them. Due to the summer grazing of the alpine meadows, the diversity of species and thus the landscape is preserved.
Moar Gut mountain cabin
The origins
The Moar Gut Alm, our alpine cabin, was built in the 1950s and architecturally adapted to the conditions of the mountain world, i.e. the strong danger of avalanches. Until the mid-80s it was managed by Elisabeth's grandparents. In 2002, the Moar Alm was renovated and a paved road was built. Now our romantically situated cabin is available exclusively for our guests.
