Our farm rooster Gusti has quite a lot to tell. He experiences many exciting adventures here at the Moar Gut—whether together with his friends, the animals on the farm, or with the children at Moar Gut. Let’s listen in and hear what Gusti has to share today!

With a loud “Cock-a-doodle-doo,” he woke the farm this morning. Gusti is up early, already excited about the animal adventures awaiting him today. Curious, he spreads his wings and flutters over the fence. “I’m going to visit my friends in the barn! Let’s see who’s already awake,” says Gusti. Then he spots Zilli the goat. “Hello Zilli! Did you sleep well? Will you come to the barn with me?” asks Gusti. Zilli nods and cheerfully bleats, “Baa! Of course I’ll come along!” Together they stroll across the farmyard, past the pigs, the alpacas, and the rabbits—until they reach the barn.

With a creak, the door opens. “Moo! Good morning!” calls Frieda the cow, delighted to see them. But Gusti is puzzled—the cows haven’t received any fresh hay yet today. Could the farmer have overslept? Gusti doesn’t hesitate and flutters up to the hayloft to take care of feeding himself. Carefully, he looks down. “Oh, that’s high!” Nevertheless, he grabs a pitchfork and tosses the hay down below. Meanwhile, Zilli is already helping diligently in the barn. With her strong horns, she pushes the hay toward the cows, who are delighted and immediately start eating contentedly. Soon Gusti comes back down as well. With his feathers, he sweeps the barn clean—almost like with a broom! “We did a really great job!” says Zilli proudly. Gusti nods and smiles.

Now both of their stomachs are growling. “Come on, let’s get ourselves a delicious breakfast too!” says Gusti.
