Because every step counts. Because research means hope. And because running brings people together.
The Wings for Life World Run is no ordinary run - it is a worldwide charity movement in which 100% of the entry fees go to spinal cord research. Together with Großerler Genuss and Stiegl Brauwelt, who took care of the catering for the team, we were able to raise € 3,000.00 and donate it to spinal cord research.
From Grossarltal to the world
Although the run takes place in many places around the world, we have organized our very own little event: With team shirts, music, motivation and a great atmosphere! The start was at 1 p.m. in Hüttschlag at the end of the valley. And everyone walked or ran until they were caught up by the catcher car.
We were connected with thousands of runners worldwide via the official app. The virtual Catcher Car in our ears spurred us on - and accompanied us kilometer by kilometer.
Together we are strong
From the receptionist to the childminder, from service to the Kendlbacher family. Whether in a baby carriage or on a balance bike. Everyone was welcome. As the Moar Gut team, we started together, motivated each other and celebrated every step.
What we achieved
76 runners completed 765.9 kilometers for the Moar Gut team. We are incredibly proud of our team, which not only supports events like these, but also lives them in its heart.
