NATURE WEEKS FOR TODDLERS - BACK TO NATURE!
In spring and autumn, the experience of nature, lots of fresh air and encounters with the many Moar Gut animals are top priorities for the children.
In addition to our farm day and the family experience in the nature reserve in Hüttschlag, the childcare team has come up with other exciting nature experiences for children between the ages of 2 and 6.
MOAR NATURE - FIND US OUTDOOR
During the nature weeks for children between 2 and 6 years there are many exciting nature experiences in the child care. These include:
- Water and stream adventures with dam and water wheel building
- Forest experiences with forest and herb educator
- Forest rally, forest treasure hunt
- Nature Olympics with nature mandalas, pulling rope, walking on stilts, balancing games, etc.
- Handicrafts and crafts with natural materials such as making flower wreaths, building a farm, building homes for snails and earthworms, and caring for animals.
Motives of our nature weeks in spring & autumn:
- Experience mindfulness with nature and its creatures.
- Sensitivity for the things of nature is never again as pronounced as in childhood.
- For children, playing, exploring, creating and experiencing in nature means learning through experiences.
- Nature and the fresh mountain air ground (in the truest sense), make hungry, happy, balanced and provide a wonderful sleep.
- Playing with natural materials, with soil and water is a primal and sensual activity in which children can completely immerse themselves in what they are doing and in their own interpretation.
