In a world that is becoming increasingly global, awareness of regionality and sustainability is becoming more and more important. Buying regional products, working with local craftsmen and using local materials not only helps protect the environment, but also strengthens the local economy. At Moar Gut, we place very special emphasis on acting sustainably and strengthening and promoting the region and the environment.

Regional food
Here is a selection of foodstuffs which we obtain directly from the Grossarl Valley:
- Eggs = Wandlehen Großarl
- Yoghurt = Bernbergbauer Großarl
- Cheese = Steinmannbauer Hüttschlag & Mitterhubbauer Großarl
- Trout = Arlerfisch Hüttschlag
- Bread = Scheiblbrandbauer Großarl & Unterkofler Bakery Großarl

We are allowed to get most of the meat from our own agriculture and hunting. Through our organic farm we care for our animals throughout the year and pay attention to feed of the highest quality and loving and respectful interaction between man and animal. Thus we create sustainability and regionality directly at the farm.

Regional materials
Anyone who knows the Moar Gut knows that only the highest quality materials are used. Be it the stone pine bed for a peaceful sleep or the mambo floors throughout the resort.

The Kinderhof is equipped with the following natural products:
- Carpets made of cashmere goat hair and virgin wool.
- Felt products made of pure merino wool
- Lamps made from goose feathers
- Wallpaper made of alpine grasses/- and herbs
- Natural rubber and linen
- Group swing, climbing nets, ropes and safety nets made of natural fibers.

Our suites in Hochgartl are exclusively made of local larch wood.

Regional resources
All water at the resort, from tap water to pool water, is supplied from our own mountain spring. Thus we can guarantee the highest quality and protect the environment.
We heat with pellets, which we obtain directly from the region. Thus we pay attention to sustainable resources and short delivery routes.

Regional companies
Especially when it comes to reconstruction or renovation work, we put a special focus on regionality. Therefore it is important for us to cooperate with local companies and to realize unique projects together.
