Where it all began
In 1914, the "Mayer zu Bach" estate was acquired by Alois Prommegger. Over the years, what was then a small farm became a 5-star luxury resort. However, the origin and heart of our resort - the farm - is still the focus of our philosophy today. It is all about regionality, respecting and honoring our nature and, above all, good cooperation between humans and animals. Animal diversity
What would a farm be without its animal inhabitants? Here at Moar Gut, we have many animals that not only make the hearts of our younger guests beat faster. Whether it's our cuddly rabbits, curious chickens or woolly sheep - each animal has its own character and loves to be pampered. The animals can be visited and stroked every day. As part of the Moar Gut animal sponsorship program, we enable our guests to get even closer to the animals. Each family can choose a sponsored animal for the duration of their vacation at the Kinderho reception at the start of their vacation. With a food bag in hand, they go to the sponsored animal, which is pampered, fed and loved during this time. Riding holidays
Our 17 Icelandic horses are also happy to receive attention: a special bond is quickly formed during a pony ride or a gentle grooming session. With our wide range of riding activities for children aged 2 and over, Moar Gut guests experience the resort from a different perspective. The world often looks a little different on horseback. From a leisurely pony walk to an adventurous ride in the Salzburg mountains - whether beginner or advanced - whether child or adult. Organic, regional & honest
What is produced on the farm flows directly into the sustainable philosophy of our resort. Many ingredients for the kitchen come from our own farm or from regional partner farms. This means that the breakfast eggs not only taste particularly fresh, but also particularly good - because you know where they come from.By the way: our guests can pick up their breakfast eggs directly from the henhouse. Our breakfast chef Arthur conjures up the best egg dishes directly at the buffet.
