Ingredients:
- 200g ground nuts
- 250g dates (weight without pits)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 5 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2-3 teaspoons gingerbread spice
- Shredded coconut and cocoa powder for rolling
Preparation:
- Soak the dates in warm water for 30 minutes.
- Then strain the dates, place them in a blender, and blend as finely as possible.
- Finally, add the ground nuts and all the spices. Blend again and season to taste.
- Form small energy balls. (If the dough is too crumbly, mix in a few more dates.)
- Roll the small balls in coconut or cocoa.
- Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator or wrap as a gift. (The energy balls will keep for a few days to weeks.)
