Sustainable construction: nature meets timeless design

For every new build and renovation, we use environmentally friendly materials, regional craftsmanship, and energy-efficient technology. Wood from local forests, natural materials in the nature suites, such as loden and stone, and a well-thought-out energy concept create a healthy indoor climate for young and old alike.

Our buildings blend harmoniously into the landscape – so the view of forests, meadows, and mountains remains unobstructed and nature retains its beauty. Our architect Tom Lechner takes special care to ensure that nature can also be felt indoors and that there is an unobstructed view of the outside from every room.

Organic farming: Freshness straight from our own farm

The heart of our resort is our organic farm. This is where the history of the Moar Gut began when senior partner Ferdinand Prommegger took over his parents' business in 1965.

Our guests—especially the children—can experience the farm up close: feeding the small animals, petting our Icelandic horses, or collecting fresh eggs in the chicken coop. This makes sustainability a playful experience.

Thanks to the adjoining organic farm and our own hunting grounds, we bring regionality to the table.
