- The family ski area Skischaukel Großarltal–Dorfgastein offers around 80 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes for beginners and advanced skiers. Generous pistes, modern lifts and family-friendly zones ensure carefree winter sports fun.
The ski area
The Großarl Valley is part of Ski amadé and the Großarltal–Dorfgastein ski area offers around 80 kilometres of pistes. This family ski area caters to all requirements and ability levels. The sunny terraces of the cosy ski huts and mountain restaurants are particularly inviting.
Private ski shuttle
Exclusive transfer from the Hotel Moar Gut to the ski area and back (approx. 5 minutes).

Children’s practice ski area
- The Großarl Valley is part of Ski amadé and impresses with a wide variety of slopes for all ability levels. The sunny terraces of the cosy ski huts and mountain restaurants are especially inviting and perfect for taking a break.

Ski lessons for the youngest
Ski lessons are available even for our youngest Moar Gut guests:
- Mini taster ski course from the 2nd year of life
- Play-based ski lessons from the 3rd year of life (from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon)
- Full-day ski course from the 4th year of life (from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
Toddler ski courses
Cross-country skiing
- The groomed cross-country ski trail runs directly alongside the resort. In total, around 25 kilometres of trails run through the entire Großarl Valley and offer ideal conditions for classic cross-country skiing and skating.
Tobogganing
- A dedicated toboggan slope for the whole family is located right next to the Moar Gut.
