Materials:
- Cardboard balls (or other types of balls)
- Acrylic paints
- Paintbrushes
- Black fineliner
- Felt for the ears
- Hot glue or craft glue
- String or yarn for hanging
- Black fineliner or permanent marker (for details such as facial features)
Step-by-step instructions:
- Paint the base coat in the appropriate color for the animal onto the ball and let it dry well.
- Then apply a second coat or add additional color details such as the face, nose, etc.
- Once the paint has dried, draw the eyes, nose, mouth, and other small details of the animals using a black fineliner. There are no limits to creativity (different facial expressions).
- Cut the ears out of felt and glue them onto the ball using hot glue. For example, pointy ears for the fox and round ears for the rabbit. (The color of the felt should match the animal design.)
→ Paper can also be used for this step. - Finally, attach a piece of string to the ball for hanging. (Or use balls that already come with a hanger.)
