Energieballs

Whether as a snack for children at school or a quick bite during work, these energy balls provide the perfect energy boost thanks to the nuts and fruits they contain.

Ingredients:

  • 50 g almonds
  • 50 g hazelnuts
  • 20 g oats
  • 100 g dried dates
  • 50 g dried prunes
  • 1 tbsp orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp grated orange zest
  • 4 tbsp shredded coconut
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder

Preparation:

  • Finely chop the almonds and hazelnuts.
  • Add the dates, prunes, orange juice, orange zest, and cinnamon.
  • Form small balls from the mixture.
  • Place the shredded coconut and cocoa powder into two separate bowls.
  • Roll half of the balls in shredded coconut and the other half in cocoa powder.
  • Serve the energy balls immediately or store them in the refrigerator.

Our tip:
Instead of rolling the energy balls in coconut and cocoa, we rolled them in freeze-dried berries.
