When the meadows are fragrant
As soon as summer arrives in Grossarltal, one of the most beautiful and pristine times of the year begins here at Moar Gut: the hay harvest. The sun is high in the sky, the meadows are lush green – and the scent of freshly mown hay fills the clear mountain air. For many of our guests, the hay harvest is a real highlight of their summer vacation. They feel what it means to live to the rhythm of nature and to live sustainably at the heart of our resort – the farm.
The organic farm
As a Family Nature Resort with its own organic farm, it is important to us to give children and parents a real insight into life in the countryside. The hay harvest is a very special experience. But why all this? So that we can provide our animals with high-quality feed in winter too. Because our alpacas, goats, cows and horses especially love their own Moar Gut hay!
