Ingredients
- 200 g ground nuts
- 250 g dates (weight without pits)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 5 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2–3 tsp gingerbread spice
- Desiccated coconut and cocoa powder for coating
Preparation
- Soak the dates in warm water for 30 minutes.
- Then drain the dates, place them in a blender, and blend them as finely as possible.
- Add the ground nuts and all the spices. Blend again and taste the mixture.
- Form small energy balls. (If the dough is too crumbly, blend in a few more dates.)
- Roll the small balls in coconut or cocoa powder.
Store them in a sealed container in the refrigerator or package them as a gift.
