A new restaurant at Moar Gut – and a return to our roots.
A tribute to what endures.
Ferdinand is a restaurant that represents both a new beginning and a return to our roots. Named after Grandfather Ferdinand, who laid the foundation for Moar Gut together with his wife Maria, the new concept is a tribute to the origins of the hotel and a natural continuation of the values they established.
The restaurant itself is steeped in history. The room that now houses Ferdinand was once the very first dining room of the house. It was here that Moar Gut’s tradition of heartfelt hospitality began—and it is here that it returns today, reimagined for a new generation.
“The finest dishes are not created through grand words, but through time, care, and respect for what nature provides.”
Ferdinand Prommegger, Senior host
