The Moar Gut alpine hut is far more than a cosy private retreat for our guests. Situated at 1,693 metres above sea level, it combines pristine Alpine tranquillity with a lived commitment to protecting nature. By actively farming the land, we help preserve and maintain the traditional Alpine cultural landscape – a valuable interplay of tradition, sustainability and mindful enjoyment. In this way, the mountain landscape can not only be experienced, but also preserved for generations to come.
The alpine pasture is reserved exclusively for Moar Gut guests – a peaceful place to experience indulgence, wide-open views and nature together.
In summer we invite you to join our weekly family hikes. After a short ascent, a delicious lunch and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape await.
The Moar Gut Alm was built in the 1950s and farmed until the mid-1980s. In 2002 it was lovingly restored and made accessible via a paved road. Today the hut is a private retreat solely for our hotel guests, inviting you to enjoy undisturbed hours in the Alpine outdoors.
From June to the end of September our cattle graze on the lush alpine pastures covering almost 80 hectares. Their grazing helps biodiversity to flourish and preserves the Alm’s picturesque landscape – a piece of nature that fascinates children and adults alike.

During your holiday at the Moar Gut
During your stay at Moar Gut, you and your children can enjoy a true alpine adventure.
Rental price for Moar Gut guests during their stay at our Family Nature Resort: € 600 per night, excluding meals, including final cleaning and transfers.
Upon request, we are happy to provide catering packages, such as a barbecue package or breakfast package, for an additional charge.
Alpine adventures independent of a stay at the Moar Gut
Experience unforgettable moments surrounded by unspoilt nature, complete tranquillity and seclusion.
For non-hotel guests and hotel guests before or after their stay: € 900 per night, excluding meals, including final cleaning and transfer.
Barbecue and breakfast packages are available upon request for an additional charge.
